IntroductionFor this project, I created a circuit that showed my birthday on a seven-segment display. With K-mapping and boolean logic, I determined the correct truth tables to get the numbers to display correctly. Using a 3-bit counter, I was able to add a button that would toggle through the digits on the display.

Ultimately, my display did not show the correct digits. My multisim worked and I checked over my wiring multiple times, so my guess is that I have a broken chip or other component. My wiring was neat at first, but quickly became unorganized because of a lack of planning and low space. My multisim was inefficient as well, and I had to change it multiple times to remove unnecessary wires, adding to the organizational issues. I need more practice wiring larger projects to improve my placement and spacing of wires.
